CIBMTR has held an annual forum to discuss its cellular therapy registry since 2015. Each Fall, representatives from clinical care, research, pharmaceuticals, insurance providers, professional organizations, and the federal government participate in informational sessions and discussions. Attendance has increased over the years to its current level of 400 participants.
In 2021, CIBMTR joined with the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy and NMDP to host the AcCELLerate Forum. This two-day, workshop offers attendees increased educational and advocacy opportunities. The workshop annually features educational sessions bridging the gap among stakeholders to identify ongoing needs and opportunities in the field for advocacy, measurement of value and impact, and sustainability.
