CIBMTR held an annual forum to discuss its cellular therapy registry from 2015 to 2023. Representatives from clinical care, research, pharmaceuticals, insurance providers, professional organizations, and the federal government participated in informational sessions and discussions. Attendance increased over the years to its 2023 level of 400 participants.
In 2021, CIBMTR joined with the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy and NMDP to host the AcCELLerate Forum. This two-day, workshop offered attendees increased educational and advocacy opportunities. The workshop annually featured educational sessions bridging the gap among stakeholders to identify ongoing needs and opportunities in the field for advocacy, measurement of value and impact, and sustainability.
